This project came to life a couple of years ago when I was travelling through Latin America.  The first image that came through was for The Moon (captured in the image below).

The Process


When drawing a card, I first connect with its energies by meditating with it. When the image is slow to reveal itself, I will sleep with the card under my pillow (I use the Rider-Wait-Smith deck for my reference). Once I receive the image, sort of like a blueprint, I begin drawing and let the image find its form. I draw, adjust, and change things to fit the energy I feel from the card.


I have completed the Major Arcana and am working on the remaining 56 cards of the Minor Arcana.
